Our heritage, pasture raised Berkshire pork is available seasonally - hogs are always raised outdoors in traditional ways and rotated on perennial pastures and fed certified organic feed. We do not administer vaccines, hormones or antibiotics. We do not spray our fields with pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. Meat is pink and light red due to breed of pigs and foraging outdoors since day 1. We offer smoked meats without any added nitrates. No synthetic casings are used in the making of our sausages and brats; no msgs or corn byproducts. Only the best ingredients for the best quality meat.
This half hog package will include at least 70 lbs. of take home meat, including:
- 15-18 pounds of smoked no nitrate ham (slices and roasts)
- 16-18 lbs. of bone in and/or boneless pork chops and loin roast
- 12-14 lbs. of shoulder roast
- 4-6 lbs of spare ribs and country style ribs
- 8-10 lbs. of thick-cut no nitrate bacon
- 8-12 lbs. of ground pork, breakfast sausage, italian sausage, no nitrate smoked or fresh kielbasa, and/or artisan brats (choices based on inventory at hand). Packaged in 1# packages - variety of linked sausages/brats or bulk 1# chubs
- Will also include package of no nitrate smoked ham hocks, pork organs, and backfat if desired.
All cuts frozen. If you would like extra items from above list or anything not listed (ex: pork stew, pork steaks, rendered lard, particular sausages, fresh hocks) please let us know and we will substitute or add based on your preference if we have requested items in stock.
