Turkey Reservations are Open. Alfalfa Honey. Meet Fisherman Mark.

With all this beautiful fall weather of late it's hard to imagine that Thanksgiving is coming up fast.  But the turkeys are getting big and sassy and the first few batches will be ready in just a few weeks.

For those that missed out on the fresh turkey reservations, the good news is that we plan to have LOTS of frozen turkeys available this year, beginning on November 12th.  That is when the first batch will be back from the processor and ready to purchase in the farm store.

We have three options for purchasing one of our frozen Thanksgiving turkeys this year:
  1. Stop in at the farm store any day beginning on November 12th and pick your turkey out from the selection of sizes we have in the store freezer.  We expect to have several hundred available between November 12th and November 25th, ranging in size from 12 - 20+ pounds.
  2. Reserve a turkey online for curbside pickup, select from one of the three size ranges available, and pick it up at the farm store beginning November 12th.
  3. Reserve a turkey online for home delivery, select from one of the three size ranges available, and wait for your turkey to be delivered to your home via UPS.  We expect to begin shipping the turkeys on Monday November 16th.
Online turkey orders for curbside pickup or shipping are now open.

All of our turkeys are raised “right” on our Dundee farm, fed only certified-organic feed, and moved to fresh pasture paddocks 2-3 times per week. These bronze turkeys are excellent foragers so they will get a variety of greens in their diet which makes for a very healthy and very tasty bird, unlike anything to be found in grocery stores. See them foraging in their open pasture shelters near the farm entrance on your next visit.
