Just a quick update for this Friday evening. We still have space for a few more FALL FEST on the FARM participants tomorrow. Weather looks very summer-like ,,, sunny and low 80s.
We should have enough food to feed 100 and so far about 70 registrations and RSVPs so don't be shy about last minute registrations. I will shutoff online orders about 6 AM tomorrow morning before I begin setup but after that you can still purchase tickets in the farm store right up until we start at 12 Noon.
For those not familiar with our annual Fall Fest on the Farm, we setup a hay mountain with large square bales that kids of all ages love to climb around on. And we will have a few group games including the tug of war, chicken rodeo, three-legged race and a few others to keep the youngsters occupied.
The main attraction will be the street tacos from the Jarabe Taco Truck. They will be coming out from Chicago to serve up their famous Carne Asada, Beef Birria, Chicken Tinga, Al Pastor and Mojo Mushroom tacos. Made with our own grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork and chicken. Side dishes will include chips and salsa, roasted tomato rice, refried black beans, and guacamole. All you can eat including bottled water and flavored sparkling water will be provided.
Afterwards we will take everyone on a hay wagon farm tour to see all the animals up close. Taco truck usually arrives around 12:00 noon and serves up the last tacos by 2:00 PM, then we start the farm tours.
Tickets are still available on our website, reserve your space online. $30 for adults, $20 for kids 5 - 12, $15 for little tykes that don't eat much.
