Fresh Chickens. Egg Bundles. Lots of Local Produce.

FARM HAPPENINGS
We made it through another very hot and steamy week. And a very busy one making almost 400 large bales of hay for winter feeding and processing over 1500 broiler chickens. Hopefully the weather guessers will be right about cooler weather and maybe even some much-needed rain on Monday.

With all those chickens processed this past week we do have fresh whole pasture-raised chicken in the store through Sunday (while supplies last). And we cut a bunch of them into parts so there are plenty of boneless, skinless breasts, thighs, drums, wings, and feet in the farm store.

And then there are the eggs. Lots of eggs. The new hens have kicked their production into high-gear and so we have brough back the discount egg bundles for both medium and large egg sizes. Save $1- $2 per dozen based on the size of the bundle. Order the bundles online for in-store pickup or grab a bundle on your next store visit.

As noted last week Anna is off to Poland and Croatia for the next two weeks with her daughter so no orders will be shipped until her return the first week of August.

“MEET THE MAKER” EVENTS COMING UP

That's it for this week. Please remember to bring us your paper or plastic shopping bags and egg cartons so we can reuse them!
